Award-winning producer & editor

Karolina Rum (born as Karolina M. Mikolajczak) grew up in Polish artistic environment which shaped her unique vision in storytelling. In 2012 she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a filmmaking degree at New York Film Academy, Los Angeles. She is known for films such as "The Stradivari" and "Forbidden Melody" earning her 9 awards. In 2016 she received Best Producer award at HIMPFF and LAIFFA. Additionally, she also a recipient of Best Editing award at HIMPFF. Her films screened at over 19 international film festival around the globe. Overall, Karolina produced 2 feature films, 13 short films, numerous commercials and music videos. In 2017 she founded Alpha Productions - a production and post-production company based in Europe and Los Angeles, providing services around the world.

Her other projects include music video “Sin Rumbo” that aired on TV in Mexico and commercial content for renowned brands such as Royal Langkawi Yacht Club, Aava Resort & Spa, Gourmet Safari KL and more. Karolina also provided post-production services for a TV feature film that was broadcasted nationwide by Cox Media in the US, and on National Geographic and Discovery Channel TLC in Australia.

Her short film “Safe&Sound” obtained distribution by Kitchen Films and was released on YouTube gaining over 900,000 views. Another short film produced by Karolina, “Dudes” is available to watch on Amazon Prime.
